What Is Going On With Nate Ramblings?

So, many of you might be wondering WHAT is going on with this website, Nate Ramblings. Or, maybe just a couple of you are. Actually, the more I think about it, it’s possible that I’M the only one that is. Eh, whatever.

Anyway….

Yes, at the beginning of the year, I wanted to launch a new weekly video series – and I did. I wanted to have a site that featured those, comics and this – regularly posted blogs. And again, I did it! I had this puppy launched and did everything I wanted. But, if there’s one thing about me, I change I want to do (except cartooning).

I did this (site) with the sole purpose of having a new platform to feature myself and my work. I like the idea of having people know who I am – along with the comics. I also thought it would be great to bring a glimpse of how I work into the mix.

Getting back to how I change, well, I do. I like to go with what works. And this platform isn’t entirely working for me.

I had a lot of great feedback from my videos and actually I want to start creating MORE of them – but just something different. I wasn’t really happy with 90% of them. Maybe because I think – well, KNOW – they can be better.

Also, beyond the videos, this site is for an online course I’m putting together. That hasn’t change. I’m still working on that. (The course is actually something I will take on my own regularly to keep pace with my own work. Is that weird since I’m creating the course?)

The original concept of weekly videos is good. I actually want to hold some kind of schedule and keep posting them. I’m not sure about the angle and the way I filmed them though, and until I’m happy with them, well, I can’t assume you will be either.

On top of that, I’ve been posting the daily comics at Nate Ramblings as well. And as I continue to do that, I think to myself, “Why?”

My comics are posted EVERYWHERE (well, okay – not everywhere, but you know what I mean) daily. TONS of places to read them (GoComics, Facebook, Gmail, Pinterest, etc.). So why come here to read them when the functionality of reading comics on this particular site isn’t exactly grandeur? That being said though, where I really want audiences (like you if you haven’t already) to read them at is with my daily email subscription. Why? Well, because with that (the subscription) you also get a daily blog that I do (yes, I blog daily and it’s in my email subscription) and plus I have on there the newest news, products (like books) and more. It’s a great way for me to connect on an individual bases as well since I get a lot of emails back. Oh yeah, it’s free, by the way (no hidden cost except feel free to order me a pizza sometime).

Now, what does all this mean??

I’m keeping up with this site.

I’m going to have COMICS on this site as well. BUT, instead of just posting a daily comic, soon, you will see the entire collection thus far and it will be organized by categories. Plus, you will have a chance to license the comics via a new company I just signed on with. It will all intertwine.

Videos – better videos – are coming! This latest one I had I actually like though. This is more the area I want to head into. Brief. Noisy. Insightful?

Just wanted to let you know that there is a lot going on and a lot to come! This site isn’t going anywhere. The structure of it and its purpose is going to change. That’s destiny.
