Sometimes It Happens

25 Jan

On occasion, you’ll find some similarities on the comics pages.

Today when I got the morning paper, I couldn’t help but notice all the turtle coverage.  It seemed as though turtles are inspiring – not just me – but other cartoonist as well.

Coincidence?  Maybe.

Or, is there deeper meaning to all this?  What if turtles slowly (and I mean real slowly) start to saturate the comic pages?

I guess time will tell….

Hmm.. I’m told it’s now the Chinese year of the Water Dragon. Maybe cartoonists are just breaking in the new year slowly…you know, at a turtle’s pace….

How very weird. I don’t draw, but I teach fourth grade, and I just happened to draw a turtle on the board today during Science class. This means something..lol
